ELEX II definitely isn’t the type of RPG where you can spam your attacks at your liking which makes this story-rich RPG a little bit compelling. The stat allocation is very important in order to make a smooth progression & gameplay. There are stat requirements for each perk, weapon, armor piece, and other item, which all play a very vital role in how you build your character. I actually really like this system. It feels like there are actual consequences to your build choices, rather than just being an easy jack of all trades like in a lot of other modern RPG games.
